Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies (local storage, IndexedDB, pixels and embedded content) are used on https://www.cadentic.net.in and the other sites of NDEDGE INFORMATICS PVT LTD, why they are used, and how you can accept, refuse or withdraw consent. It reflects the technologies actually deployed on this site and is written to meet the EU ePrivacy Directive and GDPR, the UK PECR and UK GDPR, the Swiss FADP, India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, US state privacy laws such as the CCPA/CPRA, and the consent requirements of Google, Microsoft and our other providers.
1. Who we are
This site is operated by NDEDGE INFORMATICS PVT LTD (CIN U72900WB2018PTC228551), Lp 110/36/3 Manikpur Manashbhumi, Kolkata 700079, India, under its brands CADENTIC®, ZOQOLO®, ZETTADATEN® and ZETTAGIGA®. For the purposes of data protection law we are the controller of the information collected through cookies on this site, except where a provider acts as an independent controller as described below.
2. Cookies and similar technologies
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. Local storage, IndexedDB and pixels work in a similar way. Some are set by us (first-party); others are set by services we embed or load (third-party). Some last only for your visit (session); others remain until they expire or you delete them (persistent).
We separate technologies that are strictly necessary for a service you ask for, which do not need consent, from optional ones (analytics and marketing), which we only use after you opt in.
3. How we ask for consent
- On your first visit a banner offers Accept all, Reject non-essential and Customise, with equal prominence. Nothing optional is loaded until you choose, and closing or ignoring the banner counts as no consent.
- Google services start in Google Consent Mode v2 with every storage type (
analytics_storage,ad_storage,ad_user_data,ad_personalization) set to denied; they are only updated to granted for the categories you accept. - Microsoft Clarity only loads after you accept analytics, and we pass your choice to it through Microsoft's Consent API.
- If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as an opt-out of marketing technologies (a "sale" or "sharing" opt-out under the CCPA/CPRA and similar laws). Marketing then stays off even if you click Accept all.
- Your choice (the categories, the policy version and the time) is stored in your browser for six months in the first-party cookie
cadentic_ccand in local storage. We do not keep a server-side copy. When we add a provider or change a category, we ask you again.
4. Changing or withdrawing your choice
You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings panel on this page or the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it: when you turn a category off, the page reloads so that the scripts already running stop. Cookies that a provider has already set remain in your browser until they expire; you can delete them in your browser settings at any time.
5. Strictly necessary technologies
These are needed for the site and the services you request to work, so they do not require consent. You can block them in your browser, but parts of the site (for example the contact form or sign-in) may then stop working.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
cadentic_cc and local storage cadentic.cookie-consent |
This site (first party) | Remembers your cookie choice | 6 months |
Firebase Authentication (IndexedDB firebaseLocalStorageDb, local storage) |
Google (Firebase) | Keeps you signed in when you use an account, and supports the optional one-time code that verifies a mobile number on the contact form | Until you sign out |
| Cloudflare Turnstile | Cloudflare | Checks that form submissions come from a person and not a bot; Cloudflare states that Turnstile does not use cookies to track visitors | During the check |
Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise (for example _GRECAPTCHA and local storage) |
Backup bot protection for forms and the mobile-number verification; analyses device and interaction signals to detect abuse | Up to 6 months | |
| Dashboard preferences (local storage) | This site (first party) | Remembers layout preferences for signed-in administrators only | Until cleared |
Cookieless measurement: we also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies, local storage or fingerprinting and without collecting personal data, so it does not require consent.
6. Analytics (only with your consent)
Analytics helps us understand how the site is used so that we can improve it. These technologies load only after you accept Analytics.
| Technology | Provider | Main cookies | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics 4 | _ga, _ga_<ID> |
Counts visits and usage patterns; IP addresses are not stored in Google Analytics 4 | Up to 2 years | |
| Firebase Analytics | _ga, _ga_<ID> |
Usage statistics for the site's application features | Up to 2 years | |
| Hotjar | Hotjar Ltd (Malta, EU) | _hjSessionUser_<ID>, _hjSession_<ID> and short-lived test cookies |
Heatmaps and session recordings that show how pages are used; text typed into fields is masked by default | Up to 1 year |
| Microsoft Clarity | Microsoft | _clck, _clsk, CLID, ANONCHK, MR, MUID, SM |
Heatmaps, session replays and usage insights | From the session up to 1 year |
7. Marketing (only with your consent)
These technologies load only after you accept Marketing, and never while your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal.
| Technology | Provider | Main cookies | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Google Tag Manager | None of its own | Loads our campaign-measurement tags, which follow Google Consent Mode | — | |
| HubSpot (EU data centre) | HubSpot | __hstc, hubspotutk, __hssc, __hssrc, messagesUtk |
Live chat, recognising returning visitors who contact us, and measuring our campaigns | From the session up to 6 months |
| Google Maps (contact page) | For example NID and other Google cookies |
Shows our office location on an interactive map | Up to 6 months |
8. Embedded content
Google Maps. The map on the contact page is loaded from Google, which receives your IP address and may set cookies. It loads automatically only if you have accepted Marketing; otherwise you see a Show map button, and clicking it loads the map for that visit.
Videos. Where a page contains a video, it is only loaded from YouTube or Vimeo when you press play. YouTube videos use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, which does not set cookies before playback; once playing, the provider may set its own cookies under its own policy.
9. How Google and other providers use data
When optional technologies are active, the providers receive information such as your IP address, browser and device details, the pages you visit and how you interact with them. Google explains how it uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can control Google ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com. The providers' own policies apply to their processing:
- Google: policies.google.com/privacy
- Microsoft (Clarity): privacy.microsoft.com
- Hotjar: hotjar.com/legal/policies/privacy
- HubSpot: legal.hubspot.com/privacy-policy
- Cloudflare: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
10. International transfers
Some providers process data outside your country, including in the United States and India. Where data leaves the EU/EEA, the UK or Switzerland, we rely on adequacy decisions (such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for certified providers) or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and their UK and Swiss equivalents, together with the providers' security measures.
11. Your rights in your region
- EU/EEA, UK and Switzerland: optional cookies are used only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Under the GDPR, UK GDPR and FADP you also have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability for any personal data collected, and you may complain to your local data protection authority.
- India: under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 you can give, manage, review and withdraw consent, request access, correction and erasure of your personal data, and seek grievance redressal from us before approaching the Data Protection Board of India.
- United States: residents of California and other states with comprehensive privacy laws can opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information and of targeted advertising. Rejecting Marketing in the banner, or sending a Global Privacy Control signal, does this for your browser.
- Elsewhere (for example Brazil, Canada, Australia, Singapore and South Africa): we apply the same opt-in approach to every visitor, and you can exercise the rights your local law gives you by contacting us.
12. Managing cookies in your browser
Besides our Cookie settings, most browsers let you view, block and delete cookies and site data, and many offer tracking protection or a Global Privacy Control setting. Blocking all cookies may stop parts of this site, such as forms and sign-in, from working.
13. Changes to this policy
We review this policy whenever we add, remove or change a technology, and at least once a year. The version and the "last updated" date at the top show the current edition; if a change affects optional categories, the banner asks for your choice again.
